In-form India opener Gautam Gambhir moved up one place to career-best fourth position in the ICC Test Ranking on Wednesday after scintillating performance in the recently concluded three Test Series against New Zealand.

Gambir was the highest run getter in the series grossing 445 runs while he had score of 23 and 167 at Wellington
The southpaw is in sublime touch having blasted 1,269 runs in the last eight Test to rise 33 places in the rankings.
Besided VVS Laxman also slipped down one place to 16th spot
Mahendra Singh Dhoni jumped 5 places to share the 31st spot with England Ian Bell,
Sachin and Rahul Retained their same spot at 14th and 26th spot.
